My name is Lisa Levinson. I teach Alexander Technique lessons and classes in Pittsburgh, PA. I originally turned to the Alexander Technique in hopes of resolving pain that I had from playing the violin and also from excessive computer use in my work at that time as a consultant. The Alexander lessons brought me a sense of relief from pain and stress that was so profound that I knew I wanted and needed to learn more. I trained to become an Alexander Technique teacher, launched a new career path, and there’s been no turning back! Now I have the privilege and joy of teaching others to use the principles of the Alexander Technique in their lives. They may be looking to enhance performance skills, reduce stress, improve posture, relieve pain and tension – whatever their individual needs are, the Alexander Technique provides a process for change, making life easier along the way.
